A scale that assesses the extent to which a person experiences work as a central, meaningful, and identity-defining calling.

Reliability
Cronbach’s alpha was .90 in this study.
Evidence
Validity Notes
CFA results indicated acceptable fit. Composite reliability was .93, AVE was .55, and factor loadings ranged from .63 to .84.

Additional Notes
In the original scale, items are occupation-specific and refer directly to the respondent’s own field (e.g., “I am passionate about playing my instrument / singing / engaging in my artistic specialty / business / being a manager”). In this Turkish version, the item wording was translated in a more generic form, while still using contextually appropriate work-related expressions.
