Courses & Supervision
I am committed to rigorous, research-informed teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels. My courses emphasise critical thinking, empirical methods, and the integration of theory with practice.
An introduction to human cognition covering perception, attention, memory, language, problem-solving, and reasoning. Students engage with both classic and contemporary experimental research and complete a hands-on replication project.
A graduate-level seminar on the theory and practice of psychological measurement. Topics include classical test theory, item response theory, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, and construct validity. Students develop or adapt a measurement instrument as their course project.
I welcome motivated students who wish to pursue research on memory, learning, psychometrics, or related topics.
