Cognitive Psychology

Fall 20243 Credits

An introduction to human cognition covering perception, attention, memory, language, problem-solving, and reasoning. Students engage with both classic and contemporary experimental research and complete a hands-on replication project.

Psychometrics and Scale Development

Fall 20243 Credits

A graduate-level seminar on the theory and practice of psychological measurement. Topics include classical test theory, item response theory, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, and construct validity. Students develop or adapt a measurement instrument as their course project.
